ACHIEVEMENTS
The collective has been awarded titles and forms of commendation such as: Certificate of Merit from the Prime Minister for achievements in education and training from the 2011-2012 academic year to the 2015-2016 academic year; Emulation Flag of the Provincial People's Committee for an excellent unit in the 2013-2014 academic year; Excellent Labor Collective of the Provincial People's Committee in the 2016 - 2017 academic year and many noble awards for individuals throughout the periods.
SUMMARY OF DEVELOPMENT HISTORY
The current Faculty of Agriculture - Construction, formerly the Department of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Medicine, was established in 1997 under the Agricultural Vocational School of Vinh Phuc province. In 1998, the Department of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Medicine was renamed the Department of Agricultural Techniques under Vinh Phuc Economic - Technical Secondary School. In 2002, along with the growth of the School, the Department of Agricultural Techniques was transformed into the Faculty of Agricultural Techniques under Vinh Phuc Economic - Technical College. In March 2025, the faculty was renamed the Faculty of Agriculture - Construction after merging Vinh Phuc Vocational College into Vinh Phuc Economic - Technical College and renaming it Vinh Phuc College of Techniques and Technology (under Decision No. 1974/QD-BLDTBXH dated November 29, 2024, of the Ministry of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs).
The faculty performs management and direction of activities in the field of education, production work serving training at the experimental and practice farm according to assigned functions and tasks. The total number of officials, teachers, and staff of the faculty currently is 11 comrades, including: 05 teachers (100% hold postgraduate degrees) participating in management and teaching, 06 staff members directly engaged in production at the experimental and practice farm. A total of 11 training majors: 03 college majors (Veterinary Medicine; Veterinary Services; Animal Husbandry), 08 secondary vocational majors (Veterinary Medicine; Livestock and Poultry Husbandry; Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Medicine; Management and Exploitation of Irrigation Works; Cultivation and Plant Protection; Aquaculture; Geodesy - Topography - Cadastre; Civil and Industrial Construction). Currently, the scale is from 300 - 350 pupils and students studying at the school.
