HISTORY OF FORMATION AND DEVELOPMENT
- In 1989, the Electricity Subject Group was established under the Vinh Phu Agricultural Vocational School. In 1997, Vinh Phuc province was re-established, and Vinh Phu Agricultural Vocational School was renamed Vinh Phuc Agricultural School. In 1998, it was upgraded to Vinh Phuc Economic - Technical Secondary School. The Electricity Subject Group was merged with the Mechanical Engineering Subject Group to form the Department of Electromechanics. In 2001, the Department of Electromechanics was renamed the Faculty of Electromechanics. In 2005, the Faculty of Electricity was established by splitting the Faculty of Electromechanics into the Faculty of Electricity and the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering. In 2007, Vinh Phuc Economic - Technical College was established by upgrading Vinh Phuc Economic - Technical Secondary School, and the Faculty of Electricity was renamed the Faculty of Electrical and Electronic Engineering.
- The Faculty of Electronics of Vinh Phuc Vocational College was established under Decision No. 60/QD-CDN dated February 28, 2013, on the basis of being separated from the Faculty of Electrical and Electronic Engineering.
Vinh Phuc College of Engineering - Technology
In 2025, the Faculty of Electronics was established under Decision No. 41/QD-CDKTCN dated February 19, 2025, by the Rector of Vinh Phuc College of Engineering -Technology, on the basis of merging the Faculty of Electronics of Vinh Phuc Vocational College and the Electronics - Automation Subject Group of the Faculty of Electrical and Electronic Engineering of Vinh Phuc Economic - Technical College.
ACHIEVEMENTS
Vinh Phuc Economic - Technical College: Emulation Flag awarded by the Provincial People's Committee to the outstanding unit for the academic years 2011-2012 and 2018-2019; Certificates of Merit from the People's Committee of Vinh Phuc Province for the academic years 2008-2009, 2009-2010, 2010-2011, 2011-2012, 2013-2014, 2015-2016, 2016-2017, and 2017-2018; Excellent Labor Collective title awarded by the Provincial People's Committee for the academic years 2008-2009, 2009-2010, 2011-2012, 2012-2013, 2013-2014, 2014-2015, 2015-2016, 2016-2017, and 2022-2023, along with many noble awards for individuals throughout different periods.
Vinh Phuc Vocational College: "Excellent Labor Collective" title for the academic years: 2013-2014, 2017-2018, 2018-2019; Emulation Flag from the People's Committee of Vinh Phuc Province for the academic years: 2015-2016, 2018-2019; Certificate of Merit from the Prime Minister for the academic year 2016-2017; Certificate of Merit from the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee for the academic year 2013-2014; 05 lecturers won awards at the National Vocational Education Teacher Competitions, including 03 second prizes and 02 third prizes; Many students participated in provincial and national vocational skills competitions, winning 06 provincial first prizes and 01 national bronze medal.
