Amid the emotional atmosphere of the final days of the school year, the program “Gratitude and Coming-of-Age Ceremony – When I Turn 18” was solemnly organized for twelfth grade students at the school’s two campuses on May 23rd and 24th , 2026. This meaningful event marked an important milestone as students prepared to step into adulthood, at the same time spreading the values of gratitude toward parents and teachers.
The ceremony was attended by the school board, deans of departments and faculties, the Youth Union, representatives of parents, teachers of the Basic Sciences Faculty, and nearly 800 twelfth grade students. From early morning, the main hall was filled with a lively yet heartfelt atmosphere through meaningful musical performances such as “Gánh mẹ”, “Cha kể con nghe”, “Cô là điều tuyệt vời nhất”, “Chẳng còn những ngày ấy” và “Viết tiếp câu chuyện hòa bình”. Through these songs, students expressed their gratitude to parents and teachers, their emotions shortly before finishing high school, and their promise to become responsible citizens contributing to the development of the country. A highlight of the program was the special talk on “Gratitude” delivered by speaker Nguyen Đuc Toan. His sincere and profound stories helped students better understand and appreciate the sacrifices and devotion of their parents, as well as the dedication of teachers throughout their high school years.
Representatives of parents also delivered sincere speeches, expressing gratitude to the school and teachers for always accompanying and guiding students throughout their educational journey and personal development.
Representative of students expressed gratitude to their parents and teachers and their determination to stay focused during the final stage of exam review period and promised to become a good citizen, useful to society after graduation.
The most touching moment came during gratitude ceremony for parents and teachers through the flower-pinning ritual, heartfelt messages of gratitude, and direct emotional conversations between parents and students. Many parents could not hide their emotions as they witnessed the maturity of their children. Tears shed on teachers’ shoulders and warm embraces among students, teachers, and parents created an unforgettable atmosphere filled with love and emotion.

In addition, many other meaningful activities took place, including birthday cakes with messages of maturity, colorful silk ribbons with wishes for the age of eighteen, and flowers pinned onto the shirts of parents and teachers - are all vivid symbols of the sacred affection shared during the ceremony.
The program ended with the activity “Memory Corner – Wish Tree,” where teachers, parents, and students wrote down beautiful memories, heartfelt messages, and dreams or wishes of eighteenth -year-old student on colorful silk ribbons. The commemorative photographs taken during the event not only preserved the youthful memories of school life but also became precious emotional keepsakes for students on their future paths.
Through this activity, Vinh Phuc Technical and Technology College reaffirmed its role as a modern and humane educational environment - a place where students are comprehensively developed in knowledge, skills, and personality. The program also conveyed a message to parents and students before the 2026–2027 enrollment season: Come with us - where we together make future generations’ dreams come true!
