With the aim of enhancing exchanges and sharing practical experiences in vocational training, institutional governance, and improving the quality of vocational education in the era of innovation, on May 27, 2026, a delegation from Hoa Binh Economic - Technical College paid a visit to work and exchange experiences at Vinh Phuc College of Engineering and Technology.
The delegation included the College Board of Management, along with heads of functional departments, academic faculties, and socio-political organizations of Hoa Binh Economic - Technical College. Welcoming the delegation were the College Board of Management and heads of specialized units of Vinh Phuc College of Engineering and Technology.
The working session took place in an open, solidarity-driven, and cooperative atmosphere, focusing on discussions of practical matters related to enrollment, curriculum development, financial management, autonomy mechanisms, and institutional governance models in the context of vocational education reform and institutional mergers.

Overview of the working session.
During the program, Vinh Phuc College of Engineering and Technology shared practical experiences in enrollment operations, particularly the organizational structure model, methods for developing enrollment plans, communications work, corporate connections, and solutions to improve annual enrollment efficiency. These shared insights provided the delegation with deeper practical perspectives and suitable solutions to apply at their own institution.

In addition, both colleges engaged in in-depth discussions on constructing and updating curricula using a competency-based approach to meet labor market demands. Special attention was given to experiences in organizing intermediate-level vocational training integrated with high school academic education; defining learning outcomes; designing training modules; establishing pathways for articulation between training levels; as well as the collaboration between the college and enterprises in building occupational competency standards.
In the area of financial management and autonomy mechanisms, the delegation explored financial management models at vocational education institutions operating stably post-merger; solutions to improve resource utilization efficiency, enhance legal revenue sources, practice thrift, and manage assets effectively.
Particularly, contents regarding institutional governance in the context of digital transformation and institutional mergers were dynamically discussed by both sides. Experiences in consolidating organizational structures, decentralization and delegation of authority, building internal coordination regulations, and applying information technology in training management, enrollment, finance, and learner services provided highly useful information for the delegation.

Through the study and experience-sharing program, management officials from Hoa Binh Economic - Technical College had the opportunity to access effective management models as well as innovative and practical approaches to training and institutional governance. This was also an opportunity for the two institutions to strengthen their cooperative relationship and share experiences, contributing to raising the quality of vocational education and meeting the demands of innovation and human resource development in the current period.
